The event has transformed, with stands dedicated to buffalo meat, mozzarella, pizza, desserts made with buffalo milk and a thousand traditional recipes but also innovated by modern chefs, the Piazza Municipio reopened a few months ago by the Municipality of Naples which has decided to focus on the Bufala Fest, which after six years leaves the waterfront and is reborn in front of the port.
Also open for lunch, thinking of the many tourists who get off the ships a stone's throw away and the Neapolitans who now love the festival or want to know it. In Piazza Minicipio the Bufala Fest is this year very well connected with all of Naples, with the metro station Line 1, but also with the funicular Centrale and Montesanto a stone's throw away, as well as the metro Line 2.
Tomorrow we also start with the reflections with, at 12.30, the Cia (Italian Farmers) of Campania holds in the talk area "Giardino delle Idee" of Bufala Fest, a meeting on the theme "Prevention and management of risk in agriculture", an important topic, because on the technologies of weather forecasting for agriculture and optimization of irrigation and fertilization of the land is based an important piece of Agrifood tech, which makes extensive use of data collected through sensors and digitally processed, and because there are almost 1 billion and 332 million euros dedicated to risk management in agriculture in 2023-2027, equal to 19,73% of the total community funds for the primary sector assigned to Italy by the EU in the framework of the Common Agricultural Policy. The debate will be attended, among others, by the Councilor for Agriculture of the Campania Region Nicola Caputo and Patrizio Giacomo la Pietra, Undersecretary for Agriculture.
At 19 pm, again in the Giardino delle Idee area of Bufala Fest, tomorrow there will be a discussion on the topic “The agri-food supply chain between food diversity, economic inclusion and environmental sustainability”, organized in collaboration with Agugiaro&Figna and Fratelli La Bufala and with the participation of MSC Crociere.
The meeting will be an opportunity for the public, professionals and journalists to learn about the sustainability projects of the respective companies, with particular attention to technological investments aimed at reducing environmental impacts, but also at making corporate processes and practices effective, traceable and tangible.
