After hours of apprehension, the fifty-year-old from Chiusano San Domenico, in the province of Avellino, of whom there had been no news since yesterday morning.
It was her daughter who raised the alarm with the Carabinieri. The military, under the coordination of the Prefecture of Avellino for the activation of the missing persons search plan, tracked her down in a rural area of the Irpinia municipality.
Her location was made possible through the geolocation of her cell phone. The woman was given first aid by 118 personnel and then transferred for tests to the emergency room of the “Moscati” hospital in Avellino.
