A person reported to the Judicial Authority for the crime of possession and illicit sale of fireworks, an entire illegal structure used for the production of illegal "fireworks" subjected to seizure, together with approximately 30 kg of gunpowder, obtained from the presence of various raw materials (coal, potassium nitrate and sulphur), various hand-made pyrotechnic products ready to be placed on the market, a press as well as various accessories used for their production.
This is the overall outcome of an operation carried out by the military of the Provincial Command of Caserta as part of the constant checks aimed at combating the illicit sale of pyrotechnic products lacking the minimum safety requirements during patronal festivities.

The Yellow Flames of the Company of Capua, following a specific monitoring activity, intervened in the Municipality of Vitulazio, where a building was identified, among the countryside, previously used as a factory for pyrotechnic products and now abandoned for some time. Access to this structure allowed them to surprise an Italian citizen intent on producing "firecrackers" in the absence of any authorization required by current legislation and in extremely dangerous and unstable conditions.
The financial police with the help of the Carabinieri bomb disposal experts Caserta they immediately took steps to secure the pyrotechnic products, thus preventing the factory from continuing to represent a dangerous threat to the unaware residents of the area. The fight against the illegal trade of pyrotechnic materials, in addition to targeting the activities and illicit profits of criminals and safeguarding compliance with the rules and economic legality, is aimed at protecting citizens from the risk of purchasing dangerous products of dubious origin.
