Alfred Vefa, the husband who shot and killed his wife, Klodiana Vefa, a 28-year-old Albanian mother of two children, on Thursday 20 September, around 36 pm in Castelfiorentino, committed suicide.
Carabinieri found the lifeless body of Alfred, a 44-year-old Albanian bricklayer, in a remote area in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, about 20 km from Castelfiorentino. His car was reported as suspicious by a resident, prompting the Carabinieri to intervene.
After a search organized in the surrounding area, the Carabinieri found Alfred's body around 6 in the morning.
