The military of the Operational Nucleus of the Urbino Company arrested a 35 year old man, resident in the province of Napoli and burdened by numerous previous convictions, for a theft committed against an elderly man in his eighties in the municipality of Sant'Angelo in Vado. The incident occurred on the morning of September 19th, when the elderly man, while walking through the streets of the aforementioned municipality, was approached by a white Fiorino carrying a man.
The latter, after posing as a fruit vendor about to open a shop in the area, offered to buy two crates of peaches, in order to "advertise" the product, then asked for any sum of money. When the elderly victim paid, the man stole the entire contents of her wallet, approximately €450, and immediately fled in the vehicle.
