He was a greengrocer who guarded the arsenal and also the drugs of the Neapolitan Soraniello clan, a criminal organization operating under the control of the Secondigliano Alliance and which trafficked and sold drugs in the Rione Traiano, one of the city's most important drug dealing areas.
At dawn today, the clan suffered a heavy blow thanks to a precautionary custody order issued to the Naples investigating judge at the request of the DDA, which concerns 29 suspects, alleged members of the clan. The measures were notified by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command of Napoli.
Two top members of the clan are untraceable: they are the boss Simone Soranello and Simone Bartiromo, which has become a point of reference in the supply of cocaine after the arrest of the international drug trafficker Raphael Imperial and his right-hand man Bruno Carbone. A third suspect, Giuseppe Gaetano, instead died of natural causes.

The arsenal was discovered on January 13, 2021 in a fruit shop which is located in the Bagnoli district of Naples, not far from the Traiano district.

The investigation also revealed that he was also a courier. That day the Carabinieri seized 10 machine guns (5 Kalashnikovs and 5 machine pistols), a shotgun, 11 pistols, a silencer, 328 bullets of various calibers, 3 bulletproof vests and 14 kilograms of drugs (11,296 of hashish and 2.621 of marijuana).

15 kilos of narcotic substance attributable to the clan, 24 pistols, 14 war rifles, 670 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, silencers, bulletproof vests were found and seized, all attributable to the clan.
