The funeral of 4-year-old Gennaro Basta will take place today, Monday 16 September, at 18:XNUMX pm, in the church of San Giacomo Maggiore, in San Valentino Torio.

The boy died on Saturday evening in an accident on Via Corallo in Pagani: the scooter he was riding ended up against a pole.

Messages of condolence to the family of the young man who tragically died have arrived both from the mayor of San Valentino Torio, Michele Strianese, who has proclaimed today a day of mourning for the city and that all civil and religious celebrations in honor of the Madonna della Consolazione will be suspended until September 5, and from the mayor of Pagani Raffaele Maria De Prisco.
