The anti-drug operations by the Carabinieri of the Santa Maria Capua Vetere Company continue, who yesterday evening, during coordinated checks on the Sammaritan territory and neighboring municipalities, also put a clothing store in Grazzanise under the microscope.
The Carabinieri officers, together with canine units from the Sarno Carabinieri Unit, entered the business and found, during the search, which also extended to the home of the 49-year-old shop owner, approximately 100 grams of cocaine packaged in cellophane wrappers, hidden inside a cabinet located under the cash register and in a nearby pouch.

Furthermore, the officers recovered approximately 300 grams of hashish, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing, an electronic precision scale, and various packaging materials hidden in the tank of a pellet stove installed in the man's home.
The 49-year-old was arrested and taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, at the disposal of the competent judicial authority. He will have to answer for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
