With a bold air and a challenging look, they crossed paths with the Carabinieri patrol from the local station in the streets of the city centre, while they were carrying out a territorial control service.
It happened last night in via San Salvatore in Gricignano di Aversa, in the province of Caserta, when the military personnel, suspicious of the attitude of the two, who were travelling on board a Fiat Panda and continuously checking the rear-view mirror, ordered them to stop and proceeded to identify them.

When asked to show their documents, the occupants of the vehicle were nervous and intolerant of the check. Following a personal and vehicle search, one of the two, a 21-year-old local, already known to the police, was found in possession of a 21 cm long dagger, hidden in a purse in his possession. The weapon was seized.
The young man was taken to the barracks and reported at liberty. He will have to answer for carrying weapons or objects capable of causing offence.
