The fourth edition of I Nostri Miti Festival Teatrale di Pomigliano D'Arco ended on Thursday 7 September, an event founded and promoted by the Vincenzo Ferraro association which this year had the patronage of the Campania Region and the Municipality of Pomigliano D'Arco.
A very positive balance for the fourth edition of the festival which thus marked the first leap towards a national dimension "I care a lot about this festival – explains the founder and general manager Totò Caprioli – with the fourth edition we marked the change: an expanded staff and a new artistic direction curated by Felice Panico who was able to give the event a national scope, without forgetting the origins and the territory in which it has its roots”.
Inaugurated on July 6 by Giulio Scarpati with “Eduard e Dio”, the 2023 program of I Nostri Miti proposed an important and unprecedented authorial path for the territory, bringing on stage authors and performers of absolute prestige.
“With the support of the Campania Region and the Municipality of Pomigliano D'Arco but also of the many local entities that responded to our request for sponsorship – Caprioli continues – the festival has begun to make the progress I had hoped for. Institutions that we thank for their support along with private sponsors, because choosing to support cultural events even today is a virtuous choice that requires foresight”.
“In addition to the great response from the public, which filled the historic location of the Giardino dei Miti every Thursday, the path we have taken has been a creative and growth path that promises a bright future for the festival – continues the artistic director Felice Panico – My satisfaction is twofold. We have kept our promise to bring back to Pomigliano some of the best interpreters of Italian theater, but above all we have rebuilt the relationship with a sensitive, competent audience that is eager to see quality shows again. Now our goal is to expand the offer of I Nostri Miti at each edition, combining the shows with events such as seminars, workshops, meetings with spectators, exhibitions and retrospectives on the great protagonists of theater to make our festival an active cultural container throughout the next season.”.
I Nostri Miti Festival is starting again from the fourth edition to transform itself into a creative container that accompanies the public throughout the year through quality events aimed at "awakening" spectators through art.
The conclusion of the 2023 summer review is therefore a goodbye to the next events.
