Literary trip organized by Agra Editrice.

After the success of 'A ship of books for Barcelona' (which will return in April 2024), a new literary journey on the Naples-Palermo route organized by Agra Editrice in collaboration with "Leggere:tutti" will start from 7 to 10 October.

As soon as they board in Naples, meetings with writers, musical performances and entertainment will be scheduled in the halls of the Cruise Ausonia of Grimaldi Lines, both on the outward and return journeys. The writers Diego De Silva have already confirmed their participation, with the novel Sono felice, dove ho sbagliato which tells the vicissitudes of the lawyer Vincenzo Malinconico, played by the actor Massimiliano Gallo in the successful Rai television fiction; Emilia Costantini, theater critic and culture and entertainment journalist of the “Corriere della Sera”, with the book Tu dentro di me; Valeria Gargiullo, debuting with Salani with the book Mai stati innocenti with which she won the John Fante Opera Prima Award 2022; the psychologist Francesca Picozzi, who has hundreds of thousands of followers, with the book Parlarne aiuti; Luca Giachi with his third book Senza disturbire nessuno; Luisa Sodano, editor of the book Emozioni virali. There will also be talk of wine, especially rosé wines, with Bruno Gambacorta, a journalist for Tg2 who created and hosted the food and wine program “Eat Parade,” and Dario Stefàno, a protagonist in the rebirth of Apulian wine and co-author of the book Viaggio nell'Italia del vino. To the delight of the participants, wine will be present on the Ship not only with words, but also with a tasting. There will also be space for music with singer-songwriter Patrizia Cirulli who will present a repertoire of songs taken from the poems of Eduardo De Filippo and other great poets.

After a night in a cabin “rocked by the waves”, you will disembark in Palermo and begin a guided tour by coach; you will visit the Palatine Chapel, the Norman Palace and the Cathedral; you will then continue to Monreale, known for its imposing Cathedral and the Duomo; in the evening transfer to a 4-star hotel in Palermo.

Monday 9 October guided tour of Cefalù and in the afternoon transfer to Palermo to board the Cruise Ausonia to return to Naples in the early morning of 10 October, with the possibility, for those who wish, of an individual visit to the city before returning home. The books of the participating writers will be present on the Ship thanks to the Culture Club Cafè bookshop in Mola di Bari by Domenico Sparno. Prices starting from 339 euros per person in a double cabin and double room in a hotel.

The initiative is reserved for subscribers to the magazine "Leggere:tutti".
