From Friday 29 September, “Contradictions” (HIPULP! Records) will be available on radio rotation, the new single by Kiki Orsi featuring the collaboration of illustrious musicians such as Giuseppe Milici on harmonica, Peter de Girolamo on piano, Pierpaolo Ranieri on bass, Luca Scorziello on percussion and Nicola Polidoria on drums.
The song speaks to the constant contradictions that exist in some relationships. Leaving would be the best thing, but often it's not that easy. On the one hand, we long for complete freedom, on the other, we fear abandonment. "Contradictions" expresses, through a hypothetical dialogue, the constant conflicting feelings of pain and hope, the attachment to memories, the feeling of remaining anchored to our comfort zones, and the awareness that nothing will change.
"In your opinion, can a relationship that goes against common sense be considered a contradiction? – underlines Kiki Orsi - I really don't know.

Biography
Kiki Orsi began singing as a child and, step by step, embarked on her musical journey, studying in America, becoming a singer, backing vocalist, leader of international and domestic groups, and now, finally, a songwriter. After a period dedicated to the Jazzincase project, in March 2023 she released the single "Step by step...by step." When she writes her songs, she tries to personalize them by adapting them into multiple languages. Each language, in fact, be it English, French, Italian, or Portuguese, embodies its own sound, irony, drama, beauty, sensuality, rhythm, and dynamics. She says of herself: "I love my music. It took time and experience, but also a lot of hard work and dedication. Traveling the world helped me a lot." She closes her eyes to her shyness with her second single, "Disabitata," available from May 5th. Her new and third single, "Contradictions," is available from September 29th.
