Sunday 24 September at 11.00, NarteA proposes the fourth appointment of “Little explorers discover…”.
The last stop of a project designed to lead children to discover four of the most representative historical-cultural sites in Naples. The last event on the program, “The Moon in the Well,” will take place at the Lapis Museum and will see the little explorers descend into the bowels of the city in search of the characters that inhabit the Neapolitan underground.
Children will discover the hidden gems of Naples through educational games, interaction with a friendly guide, and a fun treasure hunt.

The starting point of the latest cultural exploration by NarteA will start from the Church of Pietrasanta. A journey that reaches the belly of Naples to admire an unknown city, which contains, in addition to a part of the ancient Roman aqueduct, also one of the many air raid shelters that during the Second World War welcomed many Neapolitans, protecting them from the bombings.
In the city below, the little explorers will go in search of legendary characters, such as the monaciello (the well-digger of Naples) and the goddess Diana, whose adventures will take them back in time, immersing them in the stories of an ancient Naples. Stories that are trapped in that porous material, the tuff, and that the NarteA guides will bring out through activities and games designed for children aged 5 and up. Between labyrinths and magical walls, ancient aqueducts and legends linked to Naples, the little explorers will live a unique experience that will lead them to know their city in greater depth.
