Monday at 23.30:1 pm on Rai XNUMX Cose Nostre returns. Emilia Brandi tells the story of Gelsomina Verde, an innocent victim of the fierce Camorra feud between the Di Lauro clan and the secessionists in the city Napoli.
The murder occurred in November 2004, Gelsomina was a 21-year-old girl. Magistrate Giovanni Corona reconstructed the investigation. The testimony of Gelsomina's brother, Francesco Verde, together with the story of the policeman Sergio Cicerone, give back the tragic and criminal cross-section of the sails of Scampia.
The victim was killed and then burned in a car. Completely unrelated to criminal circles, Gelsomina Verde was identified as a target only because for a short period of her life she was engaged to a boy, Gennaro Notturno, who later became part of the Secondigliano secessionist cartel that opposed the Di Lauro clan.
In July, 19 years later, the latest sensational twist: the police arrest two more men, accused of having participated in the death expedition. Even today, Gelsomina Verde is not recognized by the Italian State as an innocent victim of the mafia.
Cose Nostre is a program by Emilia Brandi, directed by Raffaele Maiolino. Written with Vincenza Berti, Alessandro Chiappetta, Beniamino Daniele, Carlo Durante, Federico Lodoli, Sergio Leszczynski.
