The investigations carried out by the Carabinieri and directed by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, through targeted checks and statements made by people with knowledge of the facts, have allowed us to reconstruct the events, which currently appear to be related to a hit by a cyclist.

This morning, the man riding the bicycle was identified. He was unable to avoid the collision with the woman that evening, due to poor lighting and speed, and fled without providing assistance. He will be charged with negligent assault.
