The social outburst of Neapolitan musician Marco Zurzolo about the degraded conditions of Piazza Dante is causing a stir.
On his Instagram profile he wrote:“23.30pm Dante Square (Naples) scooters speeding along the pedestrian part of the square without any kind of control… police, carabinieri, falcons etc. where are you?… must another boy die and then have a funeral and say nice words and applause for Maje Ferní? Do we have to live in terror?
Do we still have to shed tears for innocent victims? In short, I believe that we don't want a new story to tell but a serious signal... after GioGió I thought that at least for a few days we could have the feeling that something was changing... but don't you put a scoundrel?
Don't you feel like a lota? Well if you stop me on the street and give me a ticket for nothing I'll take you for a ride... bah.... how disgusting... I'm sadly pissed off..."
Outburst echoed by MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli: "It's time for things to change, quickly, if we want to take back the city by freeing it from the culture of violence, oppression and arrogance for the rules of civil coexistence."
