The Rione Terra, the ancient Borgo of Pozzuoli, is ready to resonate with emotion, art, and culture from September 15 to 17, 2023 at 20:30 pm, when “La Puteolana” will come to life on stage.
This extraordinary one-act play, performed by two talented actresses and accompanied by a chorus of dancers curated by “Luna Nova”, promises to transport the audience into a world of magic and suggestion. As part of the “Officine Rione Terra” program, “Maria la Puteolana” represents an exciting preview and a revisitation of the legendary figure of the Puteolana.
This exceptional event will blend theater, dance and music in a breathtaking show that will take place in an equally magical and evocative location: the Centimolo terrace in the heart of the Rione Terra in Pozzuoli.
The stage will come to life with the story of “Maria”, played with intensity by Alessandra D'Ambrosio, who will take the audience on an emotional journey to her place of origin. Anna Moriello's talent will give life to an extraordinary interpretation that will remain etched in the memory of all spectators.
Manuela Barbato's choreography will add a touch of grace and beauty to this unique performance, while Mimmi Carbone's soundscape will create an engaging emotional background. The story is curated by Veronica Grossi, while the text is by Matteo Biccari with decorative elements by Antonio Cannavacciuolo.
