Yesterday evening, despite being under the influence of alcohol, he did not hesitate to drive his off-road vehicle, which he lost control of after a few kilometres, ending up on the boundary wall and in the entrance gate of a villa in via fiume Savone, sp 259, in the municipality of Mondragone.
Upon the arrival of the Carabinieri of the local Territorial Department, despite the blow received in the impact and the obvious need for help, the thirty-eight year old from Roccamonfina appeared nervous and intolerant. After being identified, he was entrusted to the care of 118 healthcare personnel, who in the meantime were called to intervene at the scene of the accident.
It took just a few moments to ascertain that the thirty-eight-year-old, who persistently refused to be examined, was under the influence of alcohol, a condition also subsequently confirmed by blood alcohol level tests.
The carabinieri therefore proceeded with the immediate criminal seizure of the car and the release of the man, who will have to answer for driving while intoxicated causing a road accident. At the same time, the Carabinieri also took steps to withdraw his driving licence.
