The devastating earthquake that hit Morocco has left 632 dead and 329 injured, according to a new official report from the Interior Ministry in Rabat.
Among the injured, 51 are in serious condition, the ministry said, adding that the earthquake caused several buildings to collapse, particularly in the provinces and municipalities of al-Haouz, Taroudant, Chichaoua, Ouarzazate and Marrakech.
Italy is ready to help, also for the relief phases, the authorities of Morocco after the tragic earthquake that hit the country. This was written on X, the former Twitter, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani.
"I am close to Morocco for the tragic earthquake that has sown death and destruction. Italy is ready to help, also for the relief phases, the Moroccan authorities in these difficult moments. A prayer for the victims and their families", the message reads.
