The evening of September 6th at “Segreti d'Autore”, the Festival conceived by Ruggero Cappuccio and directed by Nadia Baldi, is entirely dedicated to “Nando Paone tells his story”.
A free-wheeling meeting with the Neapolitan actor, capable like few others of frequenting comic and dramatic registers with equal skill, conducted by the journalist Gabriella Diliberto. During the interview, scheduled for 21 pm at Palazzo Coppola di Valle / Sessa Cilento (Sa), there will be interludes of performance and reading by Paone.
To rediscover, or in some cases discover, an artistic path that has nothing to envy to that of many celebrated colleagues. A career that ranges from theater to cinema and television, directed, at times, by Galdieri, Eduardo, Steno, Risi, Monicelli, Gregoretti, Salemme, Pugliese and many others. Silver Mask of the Italian Theater in 2015 for a memorable Sganarello in Alessandro Preziosi's Don Giovanni, Nando Paone was also awarded in 2020 as best actor at the Monte Carlo Comedy Festival for his performance as Pasquale Cardinale in the film "Il ladro di cardellini", directed by Carlo Luglio.
