The fight against illegal fishing by the Port Authority of Naples and the Carabinieri Station of Naples Posillipo continues unabated. Yesterday (5 September) they intervened for the umpteenth time on the Marechiaro reef, where they had previously stopped a restaurant boat that was illegally operating an economic activity without any type of authorization.
More than 400 deckchairs, umbrellas and chairs were seized, which were being used illegally by individuals already known to the Police Force. The illegal activity had already been the subject of seizures and reports by MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
“We will no longer tolerate these abuses by those who want to profit illegally from public spaces, endangering public safety and health. We will never stop filing complaints until these individuals are stopped once and for all.” – Borrelli's words
