The Naples Police Chief, Maurizio Agricola, on the proposal of the Flying Squad, has ordered the suspension for 30 days of the local business and the provision of food and drinks to the public at the pub in Piazza Municipio in Naples inside which the fight occurred that later led to the murder of the musician Giovanbattista Cutolo by a sixteen-year-old.
In particular, the officers ascertained, through the acquisition of videos from the commercial establishment's video surveillance systems and the questioning of witnesses, that last August 31, following an argument "over trivial reasons" inside the premises, the young 24-year-old was hit by gunshots.
Furthermore, already in March 2022, the external area of the venue had been the scene of a robbery to the detriment of two customers. The measure – it is explained – is aimed at avoiding “a concrete danger to public order and the safety of citizens”.
