Last weekend, officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue, with the assistance of local police personnel, carried out checks in the area of the “chalets” of Mergellina and in Largo Sermoneta.
During the operation, 423 people were identified, 79 of whom had a police record, 156 vehicles were checked, one of which was subjected to administrative seizure and one to administrative detention, 28 violations of the Highway Code were contested for driving without a protective helmet, failure to have a periodic inspection, failure to use seat belts and failure to show circulation documents.
Finally, one person was reported for resisting a public official.
