An international crossing that saw three athletes from the Fiamme Oro Sports Group of the State Police reach the podium. The first place finisher was Selected Officer Mario Sanzullo, who won the final sprint ahead of teammate Officer Alessio Occhipinti, who finished second. Probationary Officer Giuseppe Ilario, making his debut, rounded out the podium in third place.

Yesterday morning, the athletes of the Fiamme Oro Napoli, accompanied by the Coordinator of the local National Center, Chief Insp. Luca Piscopo, by the Technical Director of the Judo sector V. Sov. Giuseppe Maddaloni and by the Technicians Luigi Ganino of the Windsurfing and Beach Volley sector, Andrea Volpini of the Swimming sector and Enrico Parlati of the Judo and Gymnastics sector, met the Police Chief of Naples, Dr. Maurizio Agricola, who, for the occasion, gave them a hand-made flame, which shows the stylised face of the Pulcinella mask.
