Naples, a photographic exhibition on the "4 days"

A photographic and documentary exhibition reliving the heroism of Neapolitans and Carabinieri during the "Four Days of Naples." Mayor Manfredi hosted the "Salvo D'Acquisto" barracks.

This morning, Naples solemnly commemorated the 80th anniversary of the famous "Four Days of Naples," a historic event that profoundly impacted the city and Italy's history. The day began with a moving ceremony at the "Salvo D'Acquisto" barracks, headquarters of the Campania Carabinieri Legion Command.

The Mayor of the City of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, was warmly welcomed by Major General Antonio Jannece, Commander of the Campania Carabinieri Legion, and Brigadier General Enrico Scandone, Commander of the Provincial of Naples. The High Officers demonstrated their support and respect for the city of Naples and its history.

During the moving ceremony, a laurel wreath was laid at the sides of the bust of MOVM hero Salvo D'Acquisto. This tribute symbolizes the city's gratitude to those who sacrificed everything for Italy's freedom and independence.

Afterwards, in the courtyard of the barracks, Mayor Manfredi, accompanied by military authorities, had the opportunity to admire an extraordinary photographic and documentary exhibition.

To seal the deep bond between Neapolitan institutions and the Carabinieri, on October 6th, in Piazza Plebiscito, the banner of the City of Naples will be awarded the Carabinieri's Golden Cross of Merit. The prestigious honor will be presented by the General Commander of the Carabinieri, Lieutenant General Teo Luzi.
