Last afternoon, the officers of the Vasto-Arenaccia Police Station, as part of specially prepared services, while passing along Corso Malta, noticed a man who, at the sight of them, quickened his pace.
The police officers, suspicious, immediately checked him and in fact, inside a shopping bag he had with him, they found a box in which there were, well hidden, 21 sticks of hashish weighing approximately 70 grams.
Therefore, the 40-year-old, with specific precedents, was arrested for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.

The agents are now continuing their investigations to trace the suppliers of the drugs and establish on whose behalf the Algerian pusher was dealing.
