Yesterday evening the officers of the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue while passing by via Argine they noticed two scooters, each with two people on board, who, at the sight of the operators, attempted to evade the control by reversing.
On that occasion one of the drivers, seeing himself in a tight spot, took a gun out of his belt and pointed it at the officers at close range, who, however, immediately managed to disarm him and secure the weapon, ascertaining that it was a blank pistol, caliber 8, with 4 bullets, one of which was chambered, without a red cap.
The police also found a box with 11 cartridges of the same caliber under the seat of the moped. The man, a 20-year-old Neapolitan, was arrested for aggravated resistance.
