The communities of Nocera Superiore and Roccapiemonte, in the Salerno area, are experiencing moments of great concern for the kickboxing champion Fabio Manzi, involved last Sunday in a serious road accident while he was riding his scooter on the A3 motorway near Torre Annunziata.
The mayor of Nocera Superiore, Giovanni Maria Cuofano, writes a message of support to the Manzi family in this difficult moment, underlining that Fabio, like a true fighter, will fight with all his energy to win the most important battle: the one for life.
Cuofano adds that we are waiting for positive news from the medical staff who are assisting Fabio at this time, and that in the face of such a tragedy, we can do nothing but hope that the next medical communications provide signs of improvement.
The mayor of Roccapiemonte, Carmine Pagano, also sends a message of encouragement to Fabio Manzi through social media. Pagano says that they know Fabio's strength and determination, and they are confident that he will be able to overcome this delicate moment.
Fabio Manzi is a young man originally from Nocera, but has been working and living in Roccapiemonte for some time. He was the unfortunate protagonist of a car accident, but the community is by his side and hopes to see him again soon in Roccapiemonte and in the European rings, where he can continue to practice his beloved sport: kickboxing.
