Four brand new series will be presented at Palazzo Reale during the Campania Libri Festival: PEM, Kids, Cisterna, Sorsi and will contribute to the cultural revolution of Giannini Editore.

Naples. It is the oldest publisher in Naples, with headquarters in the historic Via Cisterna dell'Olio, Giannini returns to the field to give life to a new cultural revolution, which will start from the heart of the city and will be destined to extend beyond the Italian borders. There are four new editorial series, born in recent months and which will all be officially presented on Friday 6 October at 10 am at the Palazzo Reale in Naples, on the occasion of the Campania Libri Festival which will be held from 5 to 8 October. Present during the literary event the director of the publishing house Giulia Giannini, the president of SPA Guido Giannini. The event will be hosted by the journalist, writer Tiuna Notarbartolo.

All the writers who have become part of Giannini will participate in the presentation. Giannini boasts very important publications in its history. In fact, “monumental” figures such as Matilde Serao and Dumas have passed through its rooms full of stories.

The first series is PEM which collects mainly the great writers of yesterday and today, those who have given a notable contribution to Italian and foreign literature. The first intense volumes published are: “Ti parlo, mi ascolti?” by Dacia Maraini, “Addio, Amore!” by Matilde Serao and the soon to be released “Una donna” by Sibilla Aleramo. All the covers of the books published for the PEM series are true works of art, in fact they are portraits dedicated to the legendary writers made by Giuseppe Notarbartolo, a well-known Sicilian painter.

The second series is dedicated to children, entitled “Kids” and already has its first three authors: Maria Patrizia Sanzo with the book “The extraordinary adventures of a little star”, Stefano Esposito “The land of games” and Giovanni Chianelli with “Pino and the wind”.

The third very interesting series is Cisterna and is dedicated to contemporary and debuting authors. The titles that are part of this series will enrich the Festival, such as: “Amicizia” by Mirella D'Orsi and Eleonora Belfiore, “Viva la vida” by Giuseppe Silvestri, “Cammini a sud” by Antonio Corvino and “I misteri nei vicoli di Napoli” by Giuseppe Errico.

The fourth and final series is the very agile “Sorsi”, very small books in size (A6) and price (6,00 euros), which tell stories, curiosities that invigorate the spirit just like a cup of coffee. Sips of essays, literature, reflections and curiosities written mostly by the 3Cs, intellectuals, journalists and writers who are part of the ever-growing network of cultural communicators. The following authors will be present at the presentation: Sergio Zazzera with the “Parlata Napolitana”, Roberto Ormanni with “Domani è un altro giorno”, Lèon Mazzella di Bosco with “L'ètè de la Corricella”, Elio Notarbartolo with “Inno napoletano a Federico II”, Silvana Di Martino with “Cosa mangio per essere forte. Educazione nutritiva per bambini di scuola scola”, Antonella Fabbricatore with “A taste of Naples. The history of Naples through its cuisine”, Gennaro Di Biase with “Pino Daniele. Side notes” and Paola Proietti with “I know who killed me. Cold case of an 700th century femicide” and Antonio Trillicoso with “Hearts in community. Stories of souls in recovery”.

The great presentation by Giannini will also include, outside the series, the musician Lucio Caliendo, author of “Phibird”, one of the most rhythmic books in the history of Italian literature.
