Meret: 6. Bologna had zero shots on target in the first half. In the second half, he was called into action for the first time in the 75th minute, after Osimhen missed the penalty, and saved from Zirkzee.
In the end, a few exits and a couple of easy saves: he doesn't instill maximum confidence, but he does his job and (finally) keeps the goal intact.
By Lorenzo: 6. Defensively, the usual orderly match. A few runs down the wing in the first half of the match with the usual offensive propensity, which fades as the minutes pass in the general torpor of the Azzurri's maneuver, which creates little or nothing overall, apart from the post and Osimhen's penalty.
Ostigard: 6,5. He instills confidence and calm, especially in the air. On the ground, he gives the impression of still having something to lose, as in the 75th minute when Zirkzee nutmegged him before worrying Meret.
It was actually the only danger his side faced in the entire match.
Nathan: 6,5. His long-awaited debut is promising. He doesn't falter under pressure from opposing attackers, but he needs to improve his build-up play, which isn't his strong point.
But he is good at holding the man, also making his physicality count in the many tackles won.
Olivera: 6. The first half was fairly anonymous, certainly also influenced by the yellow card that arrived after only 7 minutes. He also tried to make himself seen in the opponent's half: three crosses came from his feet, not very dangerous (from 45 minutes Mario Rui: 5,5. Not very involved, when he has the ball between his feet going forward he is unable to create opportunities.
He closes nervously).
Anguissa: 6,5.

He finishes exhausted, a sign of a physical condition that is perhaps not yet excellent.
Lobotka: 6. Anguissa is growing and finally finding his rhythm. Especially at the start, he handles a lot of balls and keeps things moving, but then he sacrifices himself more in the defensive phase.
He ends with a few too many fouls, a warning and even some risk of a second yellow (from the 86th minute Cajuste: sv).
Zielinski: 6,5. The magic to free Kvaratskhelia is the highlight of an overall good match: precise touch from nowhere that frees the Georgian, then the cross in the middle and the penalty earned and then missed by Osimhen. Great composure in general, especially in the first phase of the match.
Raspadori: 6. In the 5th minute, he found Osimhen in depth with a well-rounded ball, the Nigerian then hit the post.
For the rest of the first half he was not seen much until the beautiful conclusion, out of nowhere, in the 45th minute, with the ball going just over the head of Skorupski (from 67' Politano: sv).
osimhen: 5. A post after 5 minutes: it would have been a great goal, but it becomes a wasted opportunity. They give a lot up front, but sometimes they get a bit too stubborn, trying to force the shot.
Needless to say, he has the two points lost on his conscience for the error from the penalty spot (from the 86th minute Simeon: sv).
kvaratskhelia: 6. This time he gave more of an impression of being dangerous from that side: the penalty also came from his well-turned low cross. In the second half, he also had one of the few Azzurri chances from outside the box, saved by Skorupski.
Perhaps he deserved a few more minutes (from 76' Elmas: sv).
