On Friday 8th and Saturday 9th September in Perdifumo, in the heart of Cilento, the third edition of the widespread event Perdifolk will take place, which this year doubles and pays homage, exactly 5 years after his death, to the singer-songwriter, poet and writer, Claudio Lolli.
The event organized by Graf srl and Proloco Perdifumo e Frazioni, in collaboration with SoundFly, Full Heads, Camella, and the support of the Acta group, enjoys the patronage of the Municipality of Perdifumo and is planned and financed by the Campania Region (POC 2014 funds -2020) through Scabec – Società Beni Culturali Campana.
The most evocative squares and corners of the historic center of one of the most characteristic villages of Cilento will become unusual parterres, for a total of three fascinating locations, with several unique characteristics of their kind; suitable to host an unmissable artistic cast for lovers of neo-folk music from Campania.
The sound moments will be interspersed with innovative comedy and special memories of one of the great masters of committed songwriting that Italy has expressed in the last five decades. In fact, it will be the first time ever that homage is paid to Claudio Lolli in Campania and the most representative exponents of modern Neapolitan songwriting will take the opportunity to sing his most famous songs such as “Borghesia”, “Ho Visto Anche Degli Zingari Felici”, “Anna Di Francia” … Worthy of note is the intervention of Paolo Capodacqua, singer-songwriter, and historic guitarist and collaborator of Claudio Lolli.
The basic idea is to propose “concurrent and widespread” shows without stopping and in an interchangeable way while the public strolls through a characteristic century-old village enjoying the beauty, the architectural peculiarities and tasting local products until a final surprise with a special concert on the balcony.
“Perdifolk 2023” will continue to offer moments of collective hilarity thanks to the incursions of Vincenzo Comunale and Davide DDL who will have the role of “presenters” of the two evenings without shying away from short stand-up comedy sketches.
During the two days, in an unrepeatable way, exponents of rock and neo-folk from Campania will perform in unique settings such as Piazzale della Posta (with its unmistakable Bell Tower) and Piazza Guglielmini (embellished by the historic public fountain adjacent to the Palazzo of the same name) artists of the caliber of Francesco Di Bella (frontman of the group 24 Grana), Dario Sansone (frontman of the group Foja), the singer-songwriter FLO and the singer-songwriters Gabriele Esposito and Giovanni Block. With them on the bill are the rap-singer-songwriters PeppOh and Oyoshe, the trio Kalika and Federica Ottombrino of the duo Fede 'n' Marlen. Among the emerging names we find Antonio D'Apolito, Cristina Cafiero, Salvatore Tortora, La Digos. So let's make room for stand up comedy by two of the youngest and most followed Italian comedians and for world music and folk contaminated with dance by Dario Cervo better known as Sangennarobar, who has been one of the official DJs of the Jova Beach Party for years.
