Traffic plan for the Neapolis Marathon

In view of the “Neapolis Marathon 2023″ running race, a special traffic system has been established for Sunday 1 October.

For Sunday 01 October 2023, from 7:30 am until no longer needed:

a) the prohibition of vehicular transit except emergency and rescue vehicles, law enforcement vehicles and organisers, on the roads listed below:

1. Piazza del Plebiscito, in the carriageways in front of the Prefecture building and the Commiliter building (Salerno Palace), via Cesario Console, via Nazario Sauro, via Partenope, piazza Vittoria, via Caracciolo, viale Dohrn, piazza della Repubblica, via Sannazaro, piazza Sannazaro, viale Gramsci, largo Sermoneta, via Acton, via

Christopher Columbus, Via Vespucci, Duca degli Abruzzi roundabout, Sant'Erasmo roundabout, Via Ponte della Maddalena, Via Volta, Volta roundabout, Via Volta, Via Marina, Via De Gasperi, Via Depretis, Piazza Bovio, Corso Umberto, Piazza Municipio, Via V. Emanuele, Via San Carlo, Piazza Trieste and Trento

2. via Solitaria, piazzetta Salazar and rampe Paggeria, except for vehicles belonging to residents, disabled people with an H permit, emergency and rescue vehicles and the Police who will be able to circulate in one-way alternating traffic

b) one-way traffic in Piazza Carolina, from the confluence of Via Serra to that of Via Chiaia and in Via Chiaia, from the confluence of Piazza Carolina to that of Via Gaetano Filangieri;

c) no parking with forced removal on via Cesario Console, viale Gramsci and viale Dhorn;

e) the suspension:

1. in the streets involved in the tender referred to in the previous point a), of the cycle path and of the areas reserved for stopping vehicles used for public transport

2. in Piazza Carolina, in Via San Carlo, in Via Santa Lucia and in Via Dumas padre of the areas reserved for parking of vehicles used for non-scheduled public transport (taxis).
