The seventh edition of the Picentia Short Film Festival, an international short film festival in southern Italy, which will begin on September 18 and end on September 24, this year opens to literature and international level Masterclasses thanks to Michele Cioffi, writer, aphorist, and President of the Liberi Eventi association.
Cioffi as Artistic Director will be responsible for curating this new format that in the 15 literary presentations sees over two hundred students per day from high schools and the Battipaglia area as protagonists.

As for the Masterclasses, Pietro De Silva, Italian actor and director, will lead to an in-depth study of the best cinematographic techniques, from facial expressions to body mastery, Maurizio De Giovanni, writer, will talk about his experience in writing, cinema, television, Modestino De Nenna, director on the subject of disabilities will be accompanied by his actors affected by Down syndrome who made a film for Rai, Annella Prisco, daughter of the famous 900th century writer Michele, will talk about her father's cultural legacy and her role as an international cultural operator, Marina Pratici, literary critic, will address the topic of human rights related to the world of children, Nicolò Noto, winner of Amici 2013, artistic director and choreographer Rai, will address the dance schools of the area.
The most anticipated event will be on September 24th, dedicated to legality. Guest of honor Tina Montinaro, widow of Antonio Montinaro, head of the bodyguard of Judge Giovanni Falcone and living memory of those years, of what happened then. Montinaro tours Italy, goes to schools, tells and remembers the bodyguard and the car, the Quarto Savona Quindici, in which her husband died. For this reason, the case of the car and the blue Camper of the State Police will be present.
