"Saturday 30 September at 19 pm in Piazzetta del Grande Archivio, on the occasion of the closing of the San Gennaro agenda, for the first edition of "Sanghe Nuosto - San Gregorio meets San Gennaro", we will award the "San Gregorio Armeno" prize to maestro Peppe Barra - says Vincenzo Capuano, president of the Botteghe di San Gregorio Armeno association -. This prize already existed once, abandoned due to various historical vicissitudes, so we decided to bring it back to the present, with our association, and we could not help but start with maestro Peppe Barra who, with the Cantata dei Pastori has accompanied us for decades during the Christmas period, and whose music is always played by the association when visitors visit the Neapolitan nativity scene art.
The prize consists of a half-length bust of the Neapolitan artist, made of terracotta, modeled and painted by hand.

The event will also formally close the exhibition for San Gennaro, hosted by the I Sedili di Napoli association, inside the Stella Maris church in Piazza del Grande Archivio. For the next awards ceremony," President Capuano concludes, "we already have a name, another great defender of Neapolitanness, which we will reveal during the event."
