The 2023/24 "Caldera Teatrale" Season at the Teatro Serra in Naples has been officially presented. The program features fourteen shows, spanning fourteen weekends from October to May (Friday at 21:00 PM, Saturday at 19:00 PM, and Sunday at 18:00 PM). The focus is on the emerging national contemporary scene, featuring young and established actors, playwrights, dancers, and musicians. "It was very difficult to choose from the many highly interesting and high-quality proposals we received. The result is a rich program of world premieres and experimental projects that reflect on contemporaneity through a variety of media: experimentation, revisiting classics, music, and dance," say the founders and promoters of the space, actor, trainer, and acting coach Pietro Tammaro and director and playwright Mauro Palumbo. Together with Mario Cangiano and Joao Santos, they will open the season on Friday, October 20 (and until Sunday, October 23) with the comedy "Non era goal," the story of two passionate Napoli fans who, after their defeat in the Champions League final, decide to kidnap the referee. An extreme act, which gives rise to a hilarious series of bizarre situations that humorously address themes such as friendship, human relationships, and faith.
