The Public Prosecutor's Office is working to provide the necessary investigations into what happened during Napoli-Lazio, a match valid for the third day of the championship and won 2-1 by the Biancocelesti of mister Sarri.The sports judge of the League of Serie A, Gerardo Mastrandrea, after the report of the collaborators of the Federal Prosecutor's Office, has in fact asked the same Prosecutor's Office “a detailed report from those responsible for public order”.
The reported facts “involving the entire Lazio fan base present (in the number of 983 supporters), in relation to the reporting of discriminatory chants of a racial nature (against opposing players on the pitch) and religious nature (against the fans of other teams), as well as denigrating chants of a territorial nature (against opposing fans), chanted on several occasions during the match by supporters in varying percentages up to the totality, including the initiatives undertaken also for the purposes of identifying the aforementioned fans and confirming their membership in groups of organised fans present at the Stadio Olimpico during the home games of the Biancoceleste club”.
As regards the measures against the companies, fines of 12 thousand euros for Lecce e Salernitana, of 10 thousand for the Lazio, of 8 thousand for the Napoli, of 3 thousand for the Juventus, of 2 thousand for the Rome, of 1.500 for the Bologna and for the Cagliari.
Only one player suspended after the third day's matches. It is the defender of Milan, Oluwafikayomi Tumor, sent off for a second yellow card during the match won at home by Roma.
