"We are not the cause of what happened, we even warned the police. It is not right to be punished so harshly, keeping us closed for 30 days: we risk bankruptcy."

Speaking are the owner and four employees of the pub in front of which, at dawn on August 31, Giovanbattista Cutolo, the 24-year-old musician killed by gunshots by a 17-year-old who is now in prison, lost his life.

“The owner and employees who went unpunished are fortunately still alive,” says Angelo Pisani, lawyer for the owner of the pub that, on the orders of the police commissioner, will remain closed for a month. “The decision,” he continues, “will further aggravate the situation that arose immediately after the tragedy, with customers avoiding stopping to consume.

For this reason we appeal to save these 30 days of stoppage. To add insult to injury, if they are not helped, they will have no choice but to close up shop and leave Naples".
