Yesterday in Qualiano, on Corso Filadelfia, a woman was the victim of an attempted mugging that caused her to fall to the ground.
Fortunately, the citizens present promptly provided assistance and called 118. The victim, however, in a state of confusion due to the fall in which he hit his head, is entrusted to the medical care of the Santa Maria delle Grazie hospital in Pozzuoli.
The Carabinieri of the local station are investigating the incident and are not ruling out any possibility. The military are already on the trail of those responsible who acted on a motorcycle.
Several people present reported the incident to the Green-Left alliance MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
"We are following the evolution of the situation hoping that the woman will recover soon. We have asked the police to identify as soon as possible the perpetrator of the robbery who will have to end up in prison", declares Borrelli.
And then he adds: "We are witnessing an escalation of crime and violence on the streets that are becoming increasingly off-limits for honest citizens who see themselves deprived of freedom and security. The latter must be restored through a new plan for prevention, monitoring and control of the territory and by increasing penalties for criminals and delinquents."
