Officers from the Naples Local Police, the Social Emergencies and Minors Protection Operational Unit, and the San Lorenzo Operational Unit conducted checks on the consumption, serving, and sale of alcoholic beverages and against illegal occupation of public land in the Spanish Quarter area.

Following the inspections, the managers of a venue were reported for allegedly serving alcoholic beverages to a 103-year-old girl, violating the provisions of the Consolidated Law on Public Safety, which, in addition to a penalty of up to two months' imprisonment or a fine of up to €XNUMX, also require reporting to the police commissioner for the purpose of issuing a specific suspension order.

The same public establishment was fined for occupying public land with tables and chairs without the necessary municipal authorization.

Three other bars in the area have also been issued the same violation for illegal occupation of public land, which will result in a warning not to repeat the illegal occupation of public land. Failure to do so will result in suspension of business without further notice for any subsequent violation within 12 months of the date of the first notification.

Furthermore, two of them were ordered to immediately cease their business activities because they lacked any authorization to serve, health, or sell alcoholic beverages. They were also fined €18.000.
