Second appointment with Ra.ID Festivals 2023, the interregional contemporary dance festival, created with the support of the Municipality of Solofra and the recognition of the MiC.
On Friday 8 September the Monumental Cloister of S. Chiara hosts two separate performances. On stage first the Sicilian Company Petranuradanza in “Sciara”, choreography and direction by Salvatore Romania and Laura Odierna (dancers Francesco Bax and Konstyantyn Hryhor'yev). Sciara, or genesis, is a shortime painting taken from the complete work of “Sciara.2”. An invisible thread unites man and the Earth, a unique flow that is born and grows together, in which the body is the instrument that allows to keep the union between these two poles strong in a symbiotic and at the same time autonomous relationship.
Immediately after “Mala tempora” by Tiziana Petrone (she plays at home, she is from Solofra), a dance theatre performance that focuses its attention on time and the human error of deforming its concept to reach one’s own eternity. She has adapted it to the needs of the assembly line, reducing it to the measure of industrial production.

RAID FESTIVALS HOSTS COME AS YOU ARE: ART FREE FROM PREJUDICE Second of eleven days dedicated to the nine arts: architecture, cinema, dance, comics, photography, literature, music, painting and sculpture.
The interregional dance festival hosts “Come as you are: art naked from every prejudice”, set up by Borderline Danza and special project MIC 2023. In the Sala Archi of the Chiostro S. Chiara the presentation of the comic “Fratelli di libertà” followed by themed film screenings and an exhibition of old Solofra plans. Admission is free.
