Published by the renowned Odoya Publishing House.
The book will be presented by the cultural association “A casa di Lucia” on Saturday 30 September in Caserta, in the village of Briano, precisely in via Catauli 10, at the “Sweet Lounge” of Nunzio Staiano.
The story is set in Paris at the beginning of the twentieth century - it tells - twenty-five centuries after Sappho, in a worldly and libertine city, among the lace skirts at the Moulin Rouge and the "vitriolic" cocktails served in the salons, of a poet who defied her time, writing passionate verses about love and women. Her name was Pauline Mary Tarn, better known as Renée Vivien and defined as "Baudelaire's daughter".
Brought back into fashion by 1970s feminism as a pioneer of lesbian singing, she is now considered one of the most authoritative voices of French symbolism.
