On June 6, on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary, they had held a real public celebration in the style of Gomorrah to remember the boss killed on the evening of the celebrations for Napoli's victory in the championship.
Yesterday in the Conocal district of Ponticelli, stronghold of the D'Amico clan, fraulella, yet another demonstration of Camorra tackiness: the music band, the flags and the children marching not to celebrate the local patron saint but, rather, to pay homage to Vincenzo Costanzo, the 26 year old boss of Conocal, killed in a Camorra ambush.
As reported by the journalist Luciana Esposito, who has been on the front line against the clans that are gripping the eastern outskirts of Naples for years, the child, who can be seen in the video, who carries the photo of the boss in glory, is said to be a nephew of Costanzo to whom a votive shrine was also dedicated where all the faces of the murdered Fraulella were inserted.
And Luciana Esposito asked herself three questions:
1) Just two days ago, in that same neighborhood, the 17-year-old who shot the engineer who last March had refused to hand over his scooter, leaving him near death, was arrested.

2) In the recent past, the City of Naples spearheaded a vigorous campaign to restore law and order, which included obscuring murals and removing votive altars honoring murdered Camorristi. Law enforcement should therefore explain how and why the votive altar housing all the giant photographs of the D'Amico clan Camorristi killed in an ambush is glorified in a chapel located in the heart of their stronghold. How is it possible that no one, during a routine patrol, noticed it?
3) The use/abuse of very young children, clearly incapable of understanding the gravity of their actions, MUST raise concerns and raise alarm. In this case, the announced "passing of the baton" by enabling the murdered leader's nephew to carry that painting to glory and then have his portrait hung next to that giant poster, requires that the institutions address the problem.
And so the final question: "Where is the State? It's legitimate to ask this when looking at these images."
"We joined Luciana's complaint, who reported the matter to social services and the Curia." - declared the deputy of the Green-left alliance Francesco Emilio Borrelli - "Furthermore, we alerted the Prefect to intervene to quell these events celebrating the Camorra and in homage to bosses and criminals. The votive shrine that was supposedly built in homage to the boss Costanza must be identified and dismantled. The State must restore legality in these territories and send away, one at a time forever, the physical and cultural presence of the Camorra.
