Last afternoon, the police officers from the Police Station San Carlo Arena, during the territorial control service, while passing through vico San Felice they noticed a person, outside a house on the first floor, who, in exchange for money, received something from a man.
The suspicious police officers entered the apartment where they surprised a man sitting at a table who had just given a package to a person who was immediately stopped while the suspect, at the sight of the officers, headed to the bathroom where he threw other packages into the toilet trying to get rid of them and escape but, not without difficulty and after a struggle, he was stopped.
Furthermore, the operators, with the support of the patrol cars of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, carried out a check in the house where they found a total of 40 packages containing approximately 7 grams of cocaine, a precision scale, various materials for packaging drugs, a knife, a mobile phone and 550 euros.
Therefore, a 47-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record was arrested for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking, personal injury and resisting a public official, while the buyer was administratively sanctioned for possession of a narcotic substance for personal use.
