Anti-drone tools to combat the introduction of cell phones and drugs into prisons via these aircraft: this is the content of a protocol in collaboration with ENAC, announced by the head of the Department of Penitentiary Administration (DAP), Giovanni Russo, on the sidelines of a roundtable organized by the USPP Naples in the Nassiriya War Memorial in the Campania region. According to a statement, the roundtable "offered food for thought on the need for regulatory reforms and extraordinary funding to make the constitutional mandate of penal execution more effective."

The conference, opened by regional secretary Ciro Auricchio and chaired by national secretary Pino Moretti, also included speeches by Undersecretary of Justice Andrea Delmastro Delle Vedove. When asked about staffing needs, he noted that "a thousand additional hires have already been arranged in the first budget."

Also present at the meeting were Undersecretary Ostellari, the Head of the Department of Penitentiary Administration (DAP), the Directors General of the Department of Penitentiary Administration (DAP) and General Manager of Penitentiary Administration (DGMC), Parisi and Cacciapuoti, the Campania Regional Superintendent, Castellano, as well as prominent representatives of the legal profession, the directors of the Institutes and Services, and Penitentiary Police managers.

During the meeting, the union, among others, called for "certainty of punishment and greater respect for the rules as necessary prerequisites for treatment and the pursuit of the rehabilitative purpose of punishment. All this through recognition of the invaluable work carried out by the Penitentiary Police."
