A minor from the Ponticelli neighborhood of Naples was reported by the Municipal Police for attempting a robbery together with an accomplice against some passers-by.

The incident occurred in via San Giorgio Vecchio, at the intersection with via Gianturco, in San Giorgio a Cremano. It is believed that the minor, on a scooter, threatened some people together with his accomplice, who then fled and may have been in possession of a gun.

The Municipal Police officers, engaged in the evening shift, intervened on site, identified and reported the minor and are still looking for the accomplice. It emerged that the scooter used was stolen last week in Castellammare di Stabia during a robbery.

The mayor, Giorgio Zinno, commented on Facebook: "Once again, this episode demonstrates the commitment of all law enforcement agencies in controlling our city, especially during the evening hours. These activities, given the episodes that occur especially in the summer, demonstrate that our commitment is producing positive results."
