This morning, the police officers from the Police Station Saint John-Barra, as part of services arranged for this purpose, checked the home of a 20-year-old Neapolitan in via delle Repubbliche Marinare where they found, in the bedroom chest of drawers, a small iron safe, a bunch of keys and 85 euros. The operators opened the small fort where they found a block of hashish, a portion of a block and 4 doses of the same narcotic substance, a precision scale, a butterfly knife and several bags for packaging the drug.

The police, with the support of a canine unit from the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, carefully inspected the building and, going up another flight of stairs from the apartment already checked, they noticed the presence of an armored door which they opened with one of the keys from the bunch kept by the young man in his bedroom. Inside this completely empty apartment, the officers found another 11 blocks of hashish depicting the same image as the one previously found; seizing a total of over 1250 grams of drugs.

A 20-year-old Neapolitan with a specific criminal record was arrested for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and was taken to the Poggioreale prison.
