Sarno, saved drowning man: solemn commendation to carabiniere

At Palazzo San Francesco, in Sarno, in the presence of the mayor, Giuseppe Canfora and the councilors Anna Maria Della Porta, Eutilia Viscardi, Gianpaolo Salvato, the ceremony was held to confer the solemn commendation to the selected Carabiniere Fabio Palmigiano, 29 years old, originally from Sarno, who on the night of August 40th saved a XNUMX-year-old man who was drowning in the waters of Buonfornello, near Palermo.

Canfora and the Municipal Administration awarded Carabiniere Fabio Palmigiano the solemn commendation "for his high human and professional qualities, his dedication to the uniform, his spirit of sacrifice, his courage, his competence, and his unwavering sense of duty, qualities he demonstrated in saving the life of a 40-year-old man who was drowning in the waters of Buonfornello, in the province of Palermo."
