A fifteen-year-old girl was the victim of a sudden kidnapping last night in Catanzaro. The girl is safe and was found about an hour later by police, who are now investigating to determine the perpetrators and the motive.
Investigators are keeping the matter under wraps, but the alleged attackers were identified and arrested today. CampaniaThe incident occurred yesterday evening when the 15-year-old, aboard her minicar, was driving along a road on the outskirts of the Calabrian capital.
Her car was pulled up alongside another car carrying two men who allegedly forced her into their car. Witnesses witnessed the scene and alerted the police. The young woman, daughter of a consultant and a lawyer, was found after about an hour in Marcellinara, a town on the outskirts of Catanzaro, also thanks to an application on her father's phone that allowed the girl's cell phone to be located.
The young woman was scared but in good health. The investigation is now being conducted by the Catanzaro Flying Squad, which, in addition to identifying the perpetrators, is working to outline the details of the incident.
