Late yesterday evening, the “112” of the Operations Centre of the Carabinieri Company arrived Sessa Aurunca, in the province of Caserta, a request for intervention from a woman who, while returning home, heard cries coming from a box placed on the edge of the road.
After getting closer, she discovered that the cries were those of three newborn puppies who had recently been abandoned.

The soldiers immediately tried to warm them by placing the box on the hood of the service car and after having wrapped them in blankets they brought them to safety in the barracks.
