Scenes from the story of Partenope are filmed in the Gardens of Augustus.
Images from Capri, from the set of Paolo Sorrentino who for days, after an initial part of filming in Naples, moved to the island where several scenes of the new, mysterious film are set. From the few rumors we know that it will focus on the life of a woman called Partenope, another name to define the city of the Oscar-winning director.
the various locations, Sorrentino chose the Gardens of Augustus, a panoramic park with a spectacular view of the Faraglioni, frequented every day by thousands of tourists but closed to the public for the occasion and granted exclusively to the production. Here Stefania Sandrelli was spotted, in a beige suit and blouse; next to her in the cast, among others, Gary Oldman, Isabella Ferrari, Silvio Orlando, Luisa Ranieri.
Also to allow for the shooting of some scenes for a few hours, the beach of the Punta Carena Lighthouse in Anacapri was closed. Some inconvenience for tourists, however happy to have movie stars around.
